A new event to encourage networking and community building among researchers in engineering and energy sectors will be held April 28-29 at the University of Oklahoma. The inaugural Industry and Government Day, hosted by the Gallogly College of Engineering and Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy at OU, will be held at the Thurman J. White Forum Building, 1704 Asp Ave., starting at 8 a.m. “The University of Oklahoma has a long history of working and collaborating with various engineering and energy sectors such as aerospace, defense, electronics, environmental, infrastructure, biomedical, software and many others,” said Sridhar Radhakrishnan, Ph.D., interim associate dean for partnerships for the Gallogly College of Engineering. “This inaugural event will enable networking and community building among researchers and practitioners.
