OU Biomedical Engineering was featured on News9 for their efforts as part of the OU Boeing Engineering Days - a day where high school students learn more about engineering disciplines. Saturday's focus, presented by Dr. Rachel Childers, focused on building prosthetic hands.

OU Boeing Engineering Days are a summer day camp for rising high school juniors and seniors on Fridays and Saturdays in the month of June. Each day offers hands-on activities that highlight a different school in engineering. Learn more at our website.

A new event to encourage networking and community building among researchers in engineering and energy sectors will be held April 28-29 at the University of Oklahoma. The inaugural Industry and Government Day, hosted by the Gallogly College of Engineering and Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy at OU, will be held at the Thurman J. University of Oklahoma engineering faculty and staff make significant contributions in the classroom, the lab, the community and far beyond the campus. Each April on the Norman campus, several recognition ceremonies are held to recognize these contributions. OU Faculty Awards and Honors 2023 Five OU Engineering faculty members received top honors at the 2023 OU Faculty Tribute hosted by the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost.
